NHL: Stars 1, Flyers 2 (OT)

Trevor Zegras was the hero for Philadelphia as he scored his 23rd goal of the season in overtime to sink the Stars and lead the playoff-chasing Flyers to their third consecutive win. Philly has won six of its last seven and sits two points back of the Blue Jackets, who are holding down the final wild card spot in the East.


NHL: Canadiens 3, Hurricanes 1

Nick Suzuki had two goals and an assist, Cole Caufield remained red-hot with his 46th goal of the season and Jakub Dobeš made 34 saves to lead the Canadiens past the Hurricanes for their fifth consecutive victory. Suzuki pushed his season total to 91 points (26 goals, 65 assists), setting an NHL career high.


NHL: Wild 4, Stars 2

Matt Boldy scored the tiebreaking power-play goal in the final minute of the second period, after having one taken away late in the first, and the Wild beat the Stars for a crucial Game 5 win in their first-round series. MIN leads series 3-2.


NHL: Bruins 2, Sabres 1 (OT)

David Pastrnak scored a highlight-reel winner in overtime for the Bruins as they defeated the Sabres to stay alive and force Game 6 in their first-round series. BUF leads series 3-2.

Shea Theodore scored on a snap shot from the high slot with 51.5 seconds left in overtime as the Golden Knights beat the Mammoth Monday night after squandering a three-goal lead. Series tied 2-2.


NHL: Flyers 2, Penguins 3

Connor Dewar, Kris Letang and Elmer Soderblom scored and the Penguins avoided elimination for the second time in 48 hours with a 3-2 win over the Flyers in Game 5. Sidney Crosby shook off a shot to his left knee to add two assists for the Penguins and Arturs Silovs had 18 saves. PHI leads series 3-2.
