Luciano Spalletti’s return to Serie A appears at hand.
Gianluca Di Marzio reports Juventus is nearing a deal to appoint the former Napoli boss as manager.

Mired in an eight-game losing streak, the Bianconeri fired Igor Tudor on Monday.
A native of Tuscany, Spalletti most recently managed Italy after leading Napoli to its first Scudetto since 1990 in 2023. A Round of 16 exit to Switzerland at Euro 2024 heaped pressure on Spalletti before he was dismissed in June following a 3-0 loss in a 2026 World Cup qualifier against Norway.
The 66-year-old Spalletti has extensive experience managing in Serie A, having also previously been at the helm of Inter, Roma and Udinese among other stops. Spalletti has been named Serie A Coach of the Year on three occasions.
The Bianconeri, currently eighth in the table on 12 points, returns to action on Wednesday afternoon when they host Udinese, who are also on 12 points. Academy manager Massimo Brambilla will serve as manager for the match.
