Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford has signed a contract extension to stay at the Premier League club through the 2028-29 season.

The 31-year-old England international has made 326 appearances for the Toffees since moving to Merseyside from Sunderland in 2017.

Everton has struggled in recent seasons but is eighth in the standings ahead of Saturday’s game at Manchester City.

“Everton is a really special club to me. Coming from Sunderland as a young lad and growing into a man here, it’s been a special time for me and my family,” Pickford said Thursday in the team’s announcement.
