CF Montreal has re-acquired midfielder Dante Sealy in a trade with the Colorado Rapids, it was announced Friday morning.
Headed back to Colorado is $400,000 in 2026 General Allocation Money (GAM), $1 million in GAM for 2027 and $300,000 in conditional GAM.
Sealy played for CF Montreal last season and had a career-best nine goals to go along with two assists in 30 games. He has five assists in 20 matches so far this season, 15 of them starts. Sealy spent his first four MLS seasons with FC Dallas.
He was traded from Montreal to Colorado on Dec. 23 of last year for up to $2.5 million in GAM.

Internationally, Sealy represents Trinidad and Tobago, where he has four goals in 11 appearances.
CF Montreal is second-last in the Eastern Conference this season with 5 wins, 10 losses and six draws.
