Canada’s national team is back in action in loaded fall soccer lineup on TSN

Following a historic performance at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the Canadian men’s national team is back in action for three international friendlies as part of a loaded soccer slate later this fall on TSN. Canada is set to return to home soil for matches against Chile in Toronto on Sept. 26 and Peru in Montreal on Oct. 3, before heading south of the border for a highly anticipated matchup against the United States in Minnesota on Oct. 6.

UEFA Champions League: Bayern Munich 5, Bodo/Glimt 0

Bayern Munich got their Champions League campaign off to a winning start as they defeated Bodo/Glimt thanks to second-half goals from Jamal Musiala and Harry Kane and a wonder-strike from Canada's Alphonso Davies.

MLS: Fire 1, Inter Miami 1

Lionel Messi collected his league-leading 13th assist of the season when he set up Carlos Casemiro for the equalizer early in the second half, and Inter Miami tied the Fire on Wednesday night. Chicago jumped in front in the 10th minute on a goal by Robert Lewandowski, his sixth in his first nine MLS matches.

MLS: CF Montreal 1, Charlotte FC 2

Daniel Rios opened the scoring for Montreal, while Liel Abada equalized and Idan Toklomati bagged the late winner for Charlotte, as CF Montreal's playoff hopes took another significant hit.

MLS: Toronto FC 2, Nashville SC 1

After surrendering an early own goal, Daniel Salloi and Emilio Aristizabal scored in the second half to push Toronto FC to a win over MLS frontrunners Nashville FC on Wednesday. Aristizabal, who subbed in for striker Josh Sargent in the 75th minute, knocked in the game-winner three minutes into extra time.

MLS: Whitecaps 3, LA Galaxy 0

Ryan Gauld returned to the starting lineup and scored his 50th goal as a Whitecaps player as Vancouver comfortably beat the Galaxy on Wednesday. With the goal, Gauld became the first Whitecaps player in the team’s MLS era to record 50 goals and 50 assists.

UEFA Champions League: Barcelona 5, Feyenoord 1

Raphinha struck twice, summer signing Karim Adeyemi produced a stunning finish, Lamine Yamal scored on a free kick and recent arrival Gabriel Jesus opened his account for the club just two minutes after stepping off the bench as Barcelona thrashed Feyenoord in UEFA Champions League action.

FIFA U20 Women's World Cup: Brazil 3, Canada 0

Nogueira scored a penalty in the seventh minute and Brazil added two more goals early in the second half as they defeated Canada at the FIFA U20 Women's World Cup. The loss leaves Canada with one draw and one loss through two games in group stage play.

UEFA Champions League: FC Porto 0, Manchester City 2

Erling Haaland struck twice as Manchester City returned to the field after a halftime tunnel bust-up to open their Champions League campaign with a win at Porto. Tensions boiled over in the aftermath of a Marc Guéhi clash with Porto's Gabri Veiga late in the opening period, leading to security staff stepping in as players and officials headed down the tunnel.

UEFA Champions League: Borussia Dortmund 3, Villarreal 2

Serhou Guirassy struck twice in five minutes to cap a wild second half as Borussia Dortmund held the Canadian trio of Tajon Buchanan, Tani Oluwaseyi and Nathan Saliba scoreless to win their Champions League opener.

UEFA Champions League: Real Madrid 2, Inter Milan 1

Kylian Mbappé struck his fifth goal of the season to set Real Madrid on course for a nervy win over Inter Milan in their Champions League opener. The France forward moved level with Madrid great Raul on 71 goals as the competition's fifth-highest all-time scorer with a 14th-minute opener at the Santiago Bernabeu.
