Hailey Van Lith has a new home.

The Connecticut Sun claimed the 24-year-old guard off waivers from the Chicago Sky.

A native of Wenatchee, WA, Van Lith was the 11th overall selection of the 2025 WNBA Draft out of TCU. She appeared in 29 games for the Sky last season, averaging 3.5 points, 1.1 rebounds, and 1.6 assists. In two preseason games prior to being placed on waivers earlier this week, Van Lith averaged 12.5 points on .714 shooting and 4.5 assists.

Internationally, Van Lith has represented the United States at various youth levels and was a member of the bronze medal-winning 3x3 squad at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

The Sun open their 2026 campaign on Sunday at home to the Seattle Storm.
