Azzi Fudd’s rookie season is over.

The Dallas Wings announced Thursday that the No. 1 pick in the 2026 WNBA Draft is set to undergo arthroscopic surgery on her injured right knee.

The 23-year-old guard has not played since an Aug. 5 game against the Washington Mystics.

The Wings (20-16) currently occupy the final playoff spot in eighth place and hold a 4.5-game lead on the Portland Fire (15-20).

A native of Fairfax, VA, Fudd’s season ends after 30 games. She ends the 2026 season having averaged 13.1 points on .456 shooting, 1.8 assists and 1.7 boards over 31.7 minutes a night.

The Wings return to action on Thursday night with a visit from the Indiana Fever. The team has eight games remaining in the regular season. Dallas is looking to return to the playoffs for the first time in three seasons.
