NHL players have been around the game of hockey for their whole lives. Generally speaking, you don’t play a lifetime of hockey without having the inner workings of the game ingrained deep within their very being.
But does that mean they know puck?
We put the Toronto Maple Leafs to the test to see who know puck, and who doesn’t. Through a series of categorized questions, Leafs players attempt to earn their diploma from the highly-esteemed BarDown School of Puck.
Attention students, class is in session.
Okay so as it turns out, the Leafs are certified puck-knowers. While they didn’t ace their classes with A+ scores, they certainly knew what they were talking about when it came to explaining tactics, identifying logos, determining stick flexes, and much more.
Congratulations to the Class of 2026!
Now time for another test...
