Sam Poulin's Team Canada training camp goal is drool-worthy

Published:

Sam Poulin is only 19 years old, but he already has an All-Star resume.

The Blainville, QC, native was part of last year’s Team Canada group that saw the country capture gold, he’s been the captain of the QMJHL’s Sherbrooke Phoenix for the past two seasons with staggering point totals, and he's a Penguins first-round pick. Poulin is one of the returning young Canadians vying for a spot on the star-studded Canadian World Juniors team, and his performance at camp today is definitely convincing.

We know that it’s only practice, but we’re pretty deprived of sweet goals like this, and we know you are too. So here’s your nasty goal fix! Poulin uses his shoulder to protect the puck before performing a head-spinning move to get the puck to the back of the net, and it’s truly made our day.

This is just about as stunning as it gets, and if he pulls this off during a game with a Canada jersey on we might just lose our minds.
