The 2026 U.S. Women’s Open tees off this week from the iconic Riviera Country Club in Los Angeles, Calif.
Riviera annually hosts a PGA Tour event and most recently served as the venue for a major event at the 2017 U.S. Amateur. Before that, the 1998 U.S. Senior Open was the last time a stroke-play major championship was played on the course.
Ben Hogan won the first men’s major championship played on the course when he claimed the 1948 U.S. Open, winning a whopping $2,000 in the process.
This week, the game’s best women take on the course for the first time, with Nelly Korda a heavy favourite at +390 to win her first U.S. Open.
| Player | Odds |
|---|---|
| Nelly Korda | +390 |
| Jeeno Thitikul | +1000 |
| Ruoning Yin | +1300 |
| Hyo Joo Kim | +1500 |
| Hannah Green | +1800 |

| Lydia Ko | +3000 |
| Minjee Lee | +3300 |
| Hye-Jin Choi | +3300 |
| Lottie Woad | +3500 |
Since her five-shot win at the Chevron Championship (another PGA Tour venue), Korda has a win and a tie for eighth.
On the season, Korda has made seven starts with three wins and seven top-10 finishes. She enters this event ranked No. 1 in the Rolex Women’s Golf Rankings and DataGolf.
Meanwhile, Canadian Brooke Henderson has just one top-10 finish in her seven starts this season and comes into the week as a 125-1 longshot.
Henderson’s most recent top 10 at a major came during the 2023 Chevron Championship, and she hasn’t finished inside the top 10 at this event since 2021.
