Week 6 of the NFL season is already in full motion and if you’re a web producer on vacation in Califorina it’s possible that a co-worker sent you a best bet at 10:30 pm est Saturday night, it’s possible that it won’t be posted until 6:40 am pst the next day.

I’m sorry.

But now that we’re here, let’s see why Drew Morrison is taking a break from picking CFL winners to play some Marvin Harrison Jr. props today.

Morrison’s Mover: Marvin Harrison Over 1.5 receptions

“I’ll try to be that resource for him if he needs me, but he’s a confident dude. He’ll be fine.”

That’s CJ Stroud talking about his former Ohio State teammate, now Texans teammate Marvin Harrison Jr. When Stroud was taken second overall in the 2023 draft, some wondered whether his stock was overvalued because of the Buckeyes’ elite receiver room. Harrison was his number one target with 77 catches for over 12 hundred yards and 14 touchdowns in 2022. Just four years later, it’s Harrison’s stock that’s getting a boost from Stroud. The Texans QB has had his own ups and downs and spoke at length about the mental toll expectations can have on a young player. I’m reminded of two years ago when Stroud’s friend and teammate Tanke Dell suffered a knee injury that he has yet to return from. Stroud couldn’t hold back his emotions at the time. It was clear he cared about his guy. I think he cares about Marvin Harrison Jr’s mental state and I expect him to get at least a couple of touches in his debut.
