Here we go, Week 6 of the NFL season is already a rocking and a rolling, let’s keep the action going with a few best bets from our TSN Betting staff.
Drew Morrison: CeeDee Lamb Over 80.5 Receiving Yards
Lamb was silenced on Thursday Night Football last week. The Cowboys were embarrassed by the Bucs with an undrafted rookie at the helm. Ceedee was sidelined for much of the second half, but shouldn’t have any lingering effects on Sunday, except for the bruised ego that adorns the entire organization. They will bring their A game to Green Bay. In the three weeks prior to last week’s debacle, Lamb was averaging over 10 catches and 150 yards per game. While the Packers are statistically among the better pass defences in the NFL through 5 weeks, elite receivers like Lamb have had big days. Justin Jefferson had 8 catches for 92 yards and 2 TDs in week 1. Drake London had 9 catches for 194 yards in week 3.
Connor Ford: Jaylen Warren 25+ Rec Yds + Cade Otton 15+ Rec Yds (+107 SGP)
Jaylen Warren has been one of the biggest bright spots on the Steelers this season and he should be in for another big workload with Pittsburgh’s injury report continuing to grow. Roman Wilson just joined Michael Pittman on IR and Pat Freiermuth is now questionable with a calf injury. Aaron Rodgers is running out of options in the passing game.
Warren already had a big role as a receiver – he ranks top five in targets, receiving yards, yards after catch and total routes run among running backs. He’s cleared 25 receiving yards in every game so far and the Buccaneers have allowed the fourth most receptions to RBs. Expect Rodgers to lean on Warren with a depleted wide receiver group.
To get this SGP to plus money, I’ll add on Cade Otton to record 15+ receiving yards. Otton ranks second on the Bucs with a 19.6% target share since Jalon Daniels took over at quarterback. Otton has recorded at least 25 yards in all five games this season, so getting to 15 should be a safe mark for the tight end.
