Here we go again.

The fourth Sunday of October means one thing and one thing only: National Tight Ends Day.

Since starting as a joke in 2019, National Tight Ends day has become a fixture on the NFL calendar.

On this day in 2024, tight ends caught 16 touchdowns and had 177 catches, which was the most catches by tight ends on any day in league history and the most TDs ever scored since the ‘holiday’ started.

Here is a look at the tight ends on FanDuel with the best odds to score this year on National Tight End day.

Thursday Night

Name Odds
Colston Loveland +175
Hunter Henry +220

Colston Loveland and Hunter Henry have a chance to get the party started on Thursday Night Football.

Last week, Loveland caught his first touchdown of the season, meanwhile four of Henry’s five targets in the redzone this year have come in his last two games.

Eli Raridon (+500) has one redzone target in four of New England’s six games and could be a longshot to keep an eye on.

Sunday Morning

Name Odds
Pat Freiermuth+270
Darnell Washington+280
Juwan Johnson +290

A trio of tight ends priced shorter than 3-1 take the field Sunday morning in Paris.

Pat Freiermuth leads the group with four touchdowns, but Juwan Johnson isn’t far behind with three.

Darnell Washington has only caught four touchdowns in 47 career games but seems to be finding a larger role in the offence closer to the endzone with five redzone targets in his last three games.

Noah Fant (+700) only has nine receptions on the season but has hauled in three touchdowns and is a longshot to keep an eye on.

Sunday Afternoon

Name Odds
Brock Bowers+115
George Kittle+130
Sam Laporta +175
Tucker Kraft+180

George Kittle enters Week 7 tied for the lead among tight end touchdown leaders with five. He draws a matchup this week against a Falcons defence allowing 0.67 touchdowns per game to tight ends.

Meanwhile, Tucker Kraft has a good matchup this week against the Detroit Lions. This season the Lions are giving up nearly two touchdowns per game (1.8) to tight ends, a 0.8 gap between them and the Las Vegas Raiders in third.

The 0.8 gap between first and third is the same as third and 24th.

In five games against the Lions, Kraft has three touchdowns.

Isaiah Likely enters the week tied with Kittle for the position lead, he’s an interesting longshot to keep an eye at +270.
