Kyrie Wilson is heading back to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.

The veteran linebacker is in agreement with the Bombers on a one-year contract extension, the team announced Tuesday.

Wilson, 33, appeared in 18 games during the 2025 regular season for Winnipeg last season, recording 49 defensive tackles, three sacks, and a career-high two forced fumbles.

Since making his CFL debut back in 2017, Wilson has totaled 206 defensive tackles, nine sacks, one interception and three forced fumbles in 79 career games all spent with the Blue Bombers.

The Fresno, Calif. native is a two-time Grey Cup champion as a member of the Bombers, helping Winnipeg secure their 2019 title with a game-sealing interception in overtime against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.
