With the 2025 CFL season now in the rear-view mirror, some of the Canadian league’s best are drawing interest from NFL teams.
With the official NFL workout window opening on Nov. 17 and closing on Feb. 10, 2026, CFL players will have the chance to be evaluated in front of NFL teams for a near three-month period.
The window to sign with an NFL team is also now open, officially starting on Jan.5, 2026. The window will close just over a month later on Feb. 10, 2026. If a player is offered an NFL contract during this period, they can opt out of their agreement north of the border to pursue it.
Pending CFL free agents whose contracts officially expire on Feb.11 2026, the CFL’s opening day for free agency, can have their agreement terminated if an NFL deal comes along.
