The winless Ottawa Redblacks added quarterback Jack Plummer to their negotiation list Friday.
It remains to be seen whether the reigning UFL MVP will join the team. He led the league in passing yards earlier this year with 2,188 yards over 10 games while throwing 17 touchdowns compared to just one interception.
Plummer finished his college career at Louisville in 2023, throwing for 3,204 yards with 21 touchdowns to 12 interceptions.
He joined the Carolina Panthers as an undrafted free agent in 2024, spending that season on the team’s practice squad. He was cut after training camp last fall.
The Redblacks (0-12) will face the Calgary Stampeders on Saturday as the team continues to search for the first win of the season.
