Roughriders sign American LB Woods

The Saskatchewan Roughriders annoucned the signing of American linebacker Josh Woods.

The veteran has spent the past five seasons with the BC Lions, playing in 55 regular season games and recording 1562 defensive tackles, 25 special teams tackles, three sacks, two interceptions and one touchdown.

The suited up in 14 games last season, posting a career-high 65 defesnive tackles, one sack kand six tackles for loss.

The 28-year-old, Ontario, Calif., native originally signed witrh the Lions in 2021 after playing at UCLA from 2015-19.
