Canadians to Watch

- Cory Greenwood: The third overall pick in the 2010 Draft joined the Argos last year after four seasons in the NFL, and with Shea Emry dealt to Saskatchewan, he will be given every opportunity to earn a starting job.

- Matt Sewell: The hope remains that he will eventually be able to join fellow McMaster product Chris Van Zeyl as starting tackles on an all-Canadian O-Line.

- Anthony Coombs: Prior to the injury that cut short his rookie season, it had become apparent that the Boatmen need to find a way to get him on the field regularly.

In the Pipeline

TE Luke Willson (Seattle Seahawks)

Picks in 2015 CFL Draft

- 7 selections

- 3rd, 12th, 21st, 30th, 39th, 55th, and 56th overall

Random Thought

Toronto scored one of the biggest victories of the offseason when the club re-signed offensive lineman Tyler Holmes before he hit the free agent market. It had been anticipated that young O-Linemen Holmes, Brett Jones, and Ben Heenan would be the offseason’s three most hotly pursued free agents. With Jones and Heenan both going to the NFL, it would’ve created even more demand for Holmes, who would’ve been the only young, proven starter available. Consider it a dodged bullet for the Double Blue, who would’ve been light on homegrown hogs without him.
