TORONTO – TSN congratulates Dave Naylor, the network’s CFL Insider and radio host, on being honoured by the Football Reporters of Canada as one of this year’s inductees into the Canadian Football Hall of Fame’s Media Wing.
Naylor will be formally inducted at the Football Reporters of Canada’s annual gathering on the morning of GREY CUP Sunday (Nov. 29). Naylor will be in Winnipeg covering his 19th GREY CUP, contributing to TSN’s multi-platform coverage of the event.
Dave Naylor is being honoured by the Football Reporters of Canada as one of this year’s inductees into the Canadian Football Hall of Fame’s Media Wing. Naylor is in Winnipeg for TSN’s radio and broadcast coverage of the 103rd GREY CUP.
“As someone who has a great appreciation for the CFL and the people who cover it, this is a tremendous honour,” said Dave Naylor, CFL Insider and TSN Radio host. “The CFL is a special league to so many Canadians and I am one of them. I am truly humbled to be recognized in this way, following so many great writers and broadcasters who’ve come before me.”

Naylor, host of TSN DRIVE WITH DAVE NAYLOR on TSN Radio 1050 in Toronto, began covering the CFL as a print journalist with The Globe and Mail in 1991 as an Ottawa-based correspondent and dealt twice with the city losing its CFL teams — the Rough Riders in 1996 (as a freelancer) and the Renegades in 2006. Naylor also worked for CBC Radio and was stationed for two years in Regina, covering the CFLʼs expansion into the U.S. He joined TSN in 2010 as the network’s CFL Insider — becoming a multi-platform journalist in radio, digital, and TV — and continues to share his insight with TSNʼs audiences.
Naylor joins fellow TSN broadcasters Chris Cuthbert, Matt Dunigan, Milt Stegall,Brian Williams, and the late TSN producer Paul McLean in the Canadian Football Hall of Fame.
