LGT World Men's Curling Championship: Semifinal - Scotland 7, Canada 9

Canada’s Matt Dunstone will be playing for a gold medal on Saturday at the world men’s curling championship. The Winnipeg-based team defeated Scotland in a thrilling semifinal Friday evening, scoring a deuce in the ninth to go ahead 8-7 and then stealing one in the 10th to beat Ross Whyte’s squad.


LGT World Men's Curling Championship: Draw 9 - Poland 2, Canada 9

Canada got back on track at the men's world curling championship with a rout of Poland in Monday's early draw. Matt Dunstone's Winnipeg rink went up 4-2 with a deuce in the fifth end, then stole three in the sixth and two in the seventh as the teams shook hands early. The win improved Canada's record to 3-2.

It was another tough outing for Canada’s Matt Dunstone at the world men’s curling championship. Dunstone’s rink suffered a 9-3 setback to John Shuster of the United States in seven ends Sunday. After opening the competition with two consecutive wins, the Canadians have now lost two straight.
