Canadian golfer Mackenzie Hughes and caddie Julien Trudeau have parted ways, according to TSN’s Bob Weeks.

The two have worked together since late 2023.

Hughes has started nine events this season but has reached the top-25 just once when he finished tied for 23rd at the Cognizant Classic in late February.

The 35-year-old failed to qualify for the Masters for the third straight season this year. He has made the cut in three of his four career appearances at the major and finished tied for 29th in 2023.

The Hamilton, Ont., native has made five-of-nine cuts this season but has missed the line in three of his past four events, including the Players Championship in March.

Hughes had two top-five finishes last season and four top-10 finishes in 2025, including a playoff loss to Ryan Fox at the Oneflight Myrtle Beach Classic. His last PGA Tour victory came in 2022 when he claimed the Sanderson Farms Championship. His only other career tournament victory came at the 2016 RSM Classic.
