Canadians Corey Conners and Nick Taylor were selected to the International Team for the Presidents Cup later this month.
Neither Conners nor Taylor automatically qualified as one of the top six players, but were selected by International Team captain Geoff Ogilvy Tuesday evening.
Conners (Listowel, Ont.) and Taylor (Abbotsford, B.C.) join Si Woo Kim, Tom Kim, Min Woo Lee, Adam Scott, Ryan Fox and Hideki Matsuyama, who qualified automatically.
Taylor Pendrith of Richmond Hill, Ont., is serving as one of the alternate captains alongside Trevor Immelman and Camilo Villegas under Ogilvy. Brandt Snedeker is the captain of the American team.
The Presidents Cup tees off on Sept. 24 at Medinah Golf Club just west of Chicago.
