Two more pros are set to defect to LIV Golf.

The Times’ Tom Kershaw reports Thomas Detry and Elvis Smylie will join the breakaway competition for the 2026 season.

A native of Uccles, Belgium, Detry turned pro in 2016 after winning the Big Ten Championship at Illinois.

A regular competitor on both the PGA and European tours, Detry recorded his first win this past February, claiming the Phoenix Open by seven strokes. The 32-year-old Detry’s best finish at a major came at the 2024 PGA Championship at Louisville’s Valhalla when he tied for fourth.

A 23-year-old Australian, Smylie turned pro in 2021. He beat Cam Smith by two strokes to claim the Australia PGA Championship in 2024. Smylie finished 72nd at this past season’s PGA Championship and missed the cut in both the 2024 and 2025 editions of The Open Championship.

The 2026 LIV season, now with 72-hole tournaments, is set to begin on Feb. 7 in Riyadh.
