Ronald Acuna Jr. is returning to the World Baseball Classic.
The Atlanta Braves superstar is once again suiting up for Venezuela next month.
Acuna, 28, appeared in five games during the 2023 WBC. He had four hits and two RBI in 18 at-bats.
A six-time All-Star, Acuna heads into his ninth big league season in 2025. He appeared in 95 games a season ago, batting .290 with 98 hits, 21 home runs, 42 runs batted in and an OPS of .935.
Venezuela will compete in Pool C in the WBC alongside the Dominican Republic, the Netherlands, Israel and Nicaragua. All games are to be played at the Miami Marlins’ LoanDepot Park. Venezuela kicks off its tournament on Mar. 6 against the Netherlands.
