The Toronto Blue Jays have granted veteran right-handed pitcher Connor Seabold his release, the club announced on Saturday.

Toronto has also assigned right-hander Lazaro Estrada to Triple-A Buffalo.

Seabold, 30, signed a minor-league deal with the Blue Jays in January after spending the 2025 season split between the Tampa Bay Rays and Atlanta Braves.

Coming over from a one-year stint with Samsung Lions of the Korean Baseball Organization, Seabold pitched to a 4.35 earned-run average with 10 strikeouts in 10 1/3 innings pitched.

The Laguna Hills, Calif., native made three relief appearances for Tampa Bay before being designated for assignment on Aug. 8, and was claimed by the Braves two days later where he get into four more contests before the end of the season.

Since signing with Toronto, the 6-foot-2 hurler has pitched in six Spring Training games, allowing seven hits and five runs with 13 strikeouts.

A third-round pick of the Baltimore Orioles in 2017, Seabold owns a 7.79 ERA and 1.765 WHIP across 119 innings pitched for his career in time spent with the Boston Red Sox, Colorado Rockies, Rays, and Braves.

Estrada, 26, made two appearances out of the bullpen for the Blue Jays last year, posting an 8.59 ERA and 1.500 WHIP with 10 strikeouts over 7.1 innings pitched.

The 5-foot-10, 180-pound righty made his Major League debut on July 5 last season, and is eligible for arbitration in 2029.

In 11 1/3 innings pitched this spring, Estrada has surrendered 13 hits and six earned runs with four strikeouts and two walks.

The Havana, Cuba native signed with the organization as an international free agent in 2018.

Toronto closes out the spring with a game against the Tampa Bay Rays on Sunday, before heading north of the border for Opening Day against the Athletics on March 27.
