Atlanta Braves pitcher Reynaldo López and Los Angeles Angels outfielder Jorge Soler have both been suspended for seven games for their actions in a benches-clearing brawl on Tuesday.
Both players have appealed their suspensions.
The incident occurred in the fifth inning when López threw a pitch up and in on Soler that went to the backstop.
Following a play at second base, Soler charged the mound and began throwing punches toward López. Both dugouts cleared as part of the incident.
