Guerrero Jr. captures ALCS MVP after Game 7 victory

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. was named ALCS MVP after helping lead the Toronto Blue Jays to the World Series with a Game 7 victory over the Seattle Mariners on Monday.

Guerrero Jr. went 10-for-26 in the series, with three homers, three doubles and four walks in seven games.

With the Jays facing a 2-0 deficit after dropping the opening two games at home, Guerrero Jr. went 4-4 with a homer, two doubles and a single in a 13-4 Game 3 victory in Seattle.

The 26-year-old homered again in Game 4 in another multi-hit performance as the Jays evened the series at 2-2.

Down 3-2, the series returned to Toronto for Game 6 and Guerrero Jr. went deep again as the Blue Jays forced the ALCS to a deciding Game 7.
