The Toronto Blue Jays’ Double-A affiliate New Hampshire Fisher Cats threw their fifth no-hitter in franchise history Tuesday night, holding the Binghamton Rumble Ponies without a hit using four different pitchers.
Jackson Wentworth started and went 4.2 innings in the 6-0 win over the New York Mets’ affiliate.

Wentworth gave way to Nate Garkow in the fifth inning, who went 1.1 innings. Irv Carter threw the next two and Kai Peterson finished things off in the ninth inning as the Fisher Cats picked up the win.
Their most recent no-no prior to Tuesday came in June of last year when right-hander Rafael Sanchez held the Altoona Curve hitless.
The Fisher Cats enter play Wednesday first place in the Eastern League Northwest at 11-8.
