Legendary manager Bobby Cox passed away at the age of 84, the Atlanta Braves confirmed on Saturday.
Cox led the Braves to 14 National League East titles from during his 25 seasons with the Braves, winning the 1995 World Series and making five World Series appearances.

“We are overcome with emotion on the passing of Bobby Cox, our treasured skipper,” the Braves said in a statement. “Bobby was the best manager to ever wear a Braves uniform. He led our team to 14 straight division titles, five National League pennants, and the unforgettable World Series titles in 1995
“His Braves managerial legacy will never be matched.”
He also managed the Toronto Blue Jays from 1982 to 1985, leading them to their first American League East title and playoff appearance in 1985.
Cox had a career record of 2,504-2,001 in 4,508 career games with three ties and a win-loss percentage of .556.
He won the manager of the year four times. once with the Blue Jays in 1985, and three times with the Braves in 1991, 2004, and 2005.
Cox was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2014.
