The Cincinnati Reds made a pair of waiver claims on Monday.

The team grabbed righties Duncan Davitt and Paxton Schultz from the San Francisco Giants and Washington Nationals, respectively.

A native of Orem, UT, Schultz appeared in 27 games for the Nats in 2026. He was 1-2 with a 6.40 earned run average and WHIP of 1.701. He struck out 32 batters and walked 12 over 32.1 IP.
