The New York Yankees have agreed to terms with first baseman Paul Goldschmidt on a one-year deal, according to multiple reports.

Goldschmidt appeared in 146 games last season for the Yankees and hit .274 with 10 homers and 45 RBIs.
The 38-year-old joined the Yankees ahead of the 2025 season as a free agent.
The seven-time All-Star has also played with the Arizona Diamondbacks and St. Louis Cardinals over his 15-year MLB career.
Goldschmidt was named NL MVP in 2022 while with the Cardinals after he posted 35 home runs and 115 RBIs with a slash line of .317/.404/.578.
