ATLANTA (AP) — Chadwick Tromp’s two-out single in the 11th inning drove in Eli White from second base and the Atlanta Braves beat the Washington Nationals 5-4 on Friday night for their fourth straight victory.

It was the first career walk-off hit for Tromp, who also had a run-scoring single in the 10th.

Tyler Kinley (4-2) picked up the win with a scoreless 11th inning. He stranded a runner at third by striking out Nasim Nuñez.

The Nationals took a 4-2 lead in the 10th on a two-run triple by CJ Abrams, but the Braves rallied with two of their own on RBIs by Tromp and Mauricio Dubón to force an 11th inning.

Paxton Schultz (0-2) took the loss for the Nationals with the unearned run in the 11th.

Bryce Elder recorded his eighth quality start of the season for the Braves, giving up one run and five hits in six innings. He lowered his ERA to 1.97.

Abrams, an Atlanta native, hit a solo homer 405 feet in the eighth to tie it at 2. Curtis Mead had a solo home run to lead off the sixth for the Nationals.

Washington used reliever Richard Lovelady as an opener and he tossed a scoreless first inning. Miles Mikolas pitched the next five innings, giving up no runs and just three hits with no walks on 66 pitches.

Raisel Iglesias pitched a scoreless ninth for Atlanta and has not given up a run in 15 2/3 innings this season.
