Philadelphia 76ers guard Tony Wroten needs surgery for a partially torn ACL in his right knee and is sidelined indefinitely. Wroten was hurt in a game last week against New Orleans and was sent to a knee specialist in California.

PHILADELPHIA - Philadelphia 76ers guard Tony Wroten needs surgery for a partially torn ACL in his right knee and is sidelined indefinitely.
Wroten was hurt in a game last week against New Orleans and was sent to a knee specialist in California. The Sixers announced before Friday's game against Toronto that Wroten would need surgery. They did not say when the surgery would take place.
Wroten is averaging 16.9 points and 5.2 points in 30 games this season. He is shooting 40.3 per cent from the field. He was the 25th overall pick in the 2012 draft by Memphis.
