Barnes, Quickley both practice for Raptors; considered questionable for Monday’s game

Published:

Scottie Barnes (adductor) and Immanuel Quickley (hamstring) both participated in practice on Sunday for the Toronto Raptors and are both expected to be listed as questionable for Monday’s game against the Memphis Grizzlies, per TSN’s Josh Lewenberg.

As Lewenberg notes, both players likely participated in a limited capacity in the practice session.

Barnes, 25, is averaging 23.5 points, 7.6 rebounds and 5.1 assists alongside a 47.5 field goal percentage over eight games this season.

Quickly, 27, is averaging 17.4 points, 3.5 rebounds and 5.8 assists over eight games.

Without Barnes and Quickley, the Raptors went on to win Friday’s game 121-107 behind 27 points from RJ Barrett and Alijah Martin, along with a career-best 16 assists from Jamal Shead.

Toronto is off to a 5-4 start on the young season and will take on a Memphis squad that got off to an unexpected 6-0 start, but have dropped their past three games.
