Toronto Raptors centre Jakob Poeltl returned Wednesday night in Denver against the Nuggets after missing the previous two games due to left shoulder bursitis.
Poeltl had sat out the previous two contests in Los Angeles against the Lakers and Clippers.
Poeltl came off the bench against Nikola Jokic and the Nuggets with Collin Murray-Boyles continuing to start in his place.
“Would imagine this is a temporary thing, while Jak gets back up to speed,” TSN’s Josh Lewenberg wrote as part of a post on X.
Murray-Boyles had 18 points, seven rebounds and two blocked shots in Sunday’s start against the Clippers as the Raps won 125-118.
Poeltl, 31, is averaging 4.6 points and 5.8 rebounds in five games so far this season.
