Raptors leading Cavaliers at halftime in elimination Game 6

With forward Brandon Ingram (heel) and guard Immanuel Quickley (hamstring) out, the Toronto Raptors lead the Cleveland Cavaliers 61-51 at halftime in Game 6 from Scotiabank Arena on Friday night.

Cleveland leads the first-round series 3-2 over Toronto.

The teams got into it early, as Cleveland guard James Harden and Toronto forward RJ Barrett received double technicals after getting tangled up.

The start of the game remained close, with the Cavaliers leading the Raptors by one at the first timeout.

The Raptors got into foul trouble soon after, as the Cavaliers got into the bonus for nearly five minutes and got out to a six-point lead. Toronto had a strong close to the quarter in response, however, tying things up at 32 by the frame’s end.

The Raptors’ momentum carried over into the second quarter, as the opened the frame on a 13-6 run to take a seven-point lead.

Thanks to some buckets from Barrett (15 points) and Scottie Barnes (14 points and 10 assists), the Raptors held their lead till halftime.
