Raptors’ Quickley getting MRI after leaving season finale with hamstring tightness

Toronto Raptors point guard Immanuel Quickley left Sunday’s season finale against the Brooklyn Nets at halftime with right hamstring tightness.

After the game, the Raptors revealed Quickley was undergoing an MRI to gain further information on the injury.

The hamstring tightness is to the same leg as the plantar fasciitis he has been dealing with in recent weeks.

Quickley scored four points with five assists and two rebounds over 17 minutes of action in the first half before exiting.

The 26-year-old is averaging 16.6 points, 4.1 rebounds and 5.9 assists over 69 games this season entering Sunday.

The Raptors defeated the Nets on Sunday to finish fifth in the Eastern Conference and will take on the No. 4 Cleveland Cavaliers in the opening round of the NBA Playoffs.
