The Toronto Raptors made an addition to their frontcourt on Tuesday.
Amazon’s Chris Haynes reports the team has signed centre Trey Jemison to a two-way contract.
Jemison, 26, appeared in 13 games for the NBA champion New York Knicks last season, averaging 6.3 minutes a night.
A native of Birmingham, AB, Jemison has 76 NBA games under his belt across three seasons, having also suited up for the Los Angeles Lakers, New Orleans Pelicans, Memphis Grizzlies and Washington Wizards. Jemison has averaged 3.7 points over 13.8 minutes a night.
Jemison joins Jakob Poeltl, Collin Murray-Boyles, Trayce Jackson-Davis and Jamison Battle as potential options at the 5.
With the signing of Jemison, the Raptors have now filled all three two-way spots with Jaden Bradley and Chucky Hepburn occupying the other two.
