Report: Raps add veteran Anderson on one-year deal

Kyle Anderson is joining the Toronto Raptors.

ESPN’s Shams Charania reports the veteran forward has signed a one-year, $3.9 million deal with the team.

The 32-year-old UCLA product spent time with three teams last season, his 12th in the NBA. He appeared in a combined 43 games for the Utah Jazz, Memphis Grizzlies and Minnesota Timberwolves. He averaged 6.2 points, 3.5 boards and 2.9 assists over 19.8 minutes a night.

A native of New York City, Anderson was originally taken with the 30th overall selection of the 2014 NBA Draft by the San Antonio Spurs. He spent four seasons with the team alongside new Raptors teammate Kawhi Leonard. Anderson also had stints with the Golden State Warriors and Miami Heat.

For his career, Anderson has averaged 6.8 points, 4.2 board and 2.8 assists in 21.4 minutes a night over 757 games.
