Oklahoma City Thunder star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is set to miss another week of action as he deals with an abdominal injury.

Gilgeous-Alexander, 27, last appeared in a game on Feb. 3 against the Orlando Magic, when he put up 20 points with five rebounds and nine assists in 28 minutes played in a 128-92 victory.

Voted an All-Star Game starter, he missed the festivities due to the injury and was replaced by Alperen Sengun of the Houston Rockets.

Gilgeous-Alexander, the NBA’s reigning MVP, is averaging 31.8 points with 4.4 rebounds and 6.4 assists this season.

The Hamilton, Ont., native will miss games against the Brooklyn Nets and Cleveland Cavaliers, as well as a date against the Raptors in Toronto next week.

The Thunder (42-14) own the second-best record in the NBA this season, and are the reigning Larry O’Brien champions.
