Oklahoma City Thunder star Jalen Williams underwent surgery to address his fractured left fibula and dislocated ankle on Wednesday and will be reevaluated before the end of the regular season.
Williams suffered the injuries during Sunday's win over the LA Clippers, and it was announced Tuesday he would miss significant time.
Speaking to reporters Tuesday, general manager Sam Presti said the team would know more about Williams' timeline for return after the procedure. Full recovery from the injury typically requires several months.
Cason Wallace also suffered a significant injury in Sunday's game, tearing the labrum in his left shoulder. He is set to undergo surgery before missing multiple months.
And Oklahoma City is missing Chet Holmgren (right knee patellar tendinitis) and Alex Caruso (right ankle sprain) for Wednesday's game vs. the Dallas Mavericks.
