The Denver Nuggets and Canadian star Jamal Murray are working toward a four-year, $209 million contract extension, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.

In 59 regular season games last season, Murray averaged 21.2 points, 6.5 assists and 4.1 rebounds for the Nuggets. In the playoffs, the guard averaged 19.3 points, 5.8 assists and 4.5 rebounds through 11 contests.
