An Alabama great will serve as guest picker this Saturday as College GameDay broadcasts from Tuscaloosa ahead of the No. 6 Crimson Tide welcoming No. 2 Georgia in a clash of SEC heavyweights.
Heisman Trophy winner - and current Carolina Panthers quarterback - Bryce Young will sit in on the panel alongside his former head coach, Nick Saban.
You can catch ESPN College GameDay LIVE on Saturday at 9am ET/6am PT on TSN2, TSN.ca and the TSN App.
Young, 25, spent three seasons at Bama, leading the team to a National Championship in 2020. Winning the Heisman in 2021, he would go on to be selected by the Panthers with the first overall selection of the 2023 NFL Draft.
In his fourth season with the Panthers, Young has gotten off to a strong start. Through four games, the Wynnewood, PA native has thrown for a league-leading 1,268 yards on 101-for-162 passing with nine touchdowns to two interceptions.
On their bye week, the Panthers sit at 2-2. They return to action on Oct. 18 with a visit to the Philadelphia Eagles (2-2).
Saturday’s GameDay will be the show’s 22nd visit to Tuscaloosa. Only Columbus has hosted the show more often with 22 appearances at Ohio State.
