Cowboys WR Pickens, CB Porter, LB Overshown inactive against Colts

Published:

INDIANAPOLIS -- The Dallas Cowboys will be without wide receiver George Pickens, cornerback Joey Porter Jr. and linebacker DeMarvion Overshown on Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts.

Pickens (shoulder, hamstring), Porter (ankle) and Overshown (back) had been listed as questionable Friday after being limited last week in practice.

Pickens has been bothered by a shoulder injury since the team's Oct. 8 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. His hamstring injury has been an issue the past two weeks and limited his work in practice.

Porter has had ankle issues for the past few weeks and was unable to finish last week's loss against the Arizona Cardinals.

Overshown's back injury flared up this week, and he has been dealing with a hamstring issue. He spent time on injured reserve after suffering a hamstring injury in Dallas' season opener against the Giants.

Pickens has 39 catches for 533 yards and two touchdowns, off the pace he had a year ago, when he had 93 catches for 1,429 yards and nine scores in his first year with the Cowboys. Porter, who was acquired by the Cowboys on Oct. 1 from the Pittsburgh Steelers, will have missed two full games because of injury/illness. He was sent home after arriving at AT&T Stadium with flu-like symptoms before the Cowboys' loss to the Buccaneers. He has been credited with eight tackles, a tackle for loss and three pass breakups in the four games he has played.

The Cowboys will have Ryan Flournoy move into the No. 2 wide receiver role opposite CeeDee Lamb, while Jonathan Mingo will be the No. 3 receiver. The Cowboys will be without KaVontae Turpin (ribs) for the third straight game and have undrafted rookies Camden Brown and Jordan Hudson available.

Cobie Durant is likely to replace Porter. He started Dallas' first two games before suffering a hamstring injury. Shavon Revel Jr., who was inactive last week, will play.

Overshown's absence will be mitigated some by the return of Dee Winters, who suffered a calf strain against the Green Bay Packers and missed two games.
