Stefon Diggs appears to have found himself a new home for the 2026 season.
The veteran wide receiver is expected to sign a one-year deal worth up to $12 million with the Washington Commanders, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Diggs, a native of Gaithersburg, Md., was released by the New England Patriots in March just one season into a three-year, $63.5 million deal.
The veteran receiver brought in 85 catches for 1,013 yards and four touchdowns while helping the Patriots to the Super Bowl in his lone year in Foxborough.
The 32-year-old pass catcher was previously named to four consecutive Pro Bowls from 2020-2023 as a member of the Buffalo Bills.
In 11 NFL seasons since being drafted in the fifth round out of Maryland in the 2015 draft, Diggs has totaled 11,504 yards on 942 receptions with 74 touchdowns in time split with the Minnesota Vikings, Bills, Houston Texans, and Patriots.
He has eclipsed the 1,000-yard mark seven times throughout his career, and led the league in receptions (127) and receiving yards (1,535) in 2020 with Buffalo.
