Divisional clash in London, NFL RedZone headline Week 6 action on TSN, TSN Premium

Published:

Week 6 in the National Football League is here as a jam-packed week of football gets set for kickoff on Thursday night.

TSN will carry seven games on the network this week, including an international clash in London on Sunday morning, while NFL RedZone highlights all of the action from Sunday’s 11 games.

Here is a game-by-game look at all of the action this week and where you can find them on the network.

Seattle Seahawks vs. Denver Broncos – Thursday Night Football

The action begins on Thursday night with Sam Darnold and the Seattle Seahawks looking to bounce back against Bo Nix and the Denver Broncos.

Watch the Seahawks visit the Broncos LIVE Thursday at 8:15 p.m. ET / 5:15 p.m. PT on TSN1, TSN.ca, and the TSN App.

Seattle (3-2) is coming off of a tight 32-29 loss to their NFC West rival San Francisco 49ers last time out.

The Seahawks rallied back in the second half and even tied the game with under seven minutes remaining in regulation, but dropped the contest after Niners kicker Eddy Piniero drilled a clutch field goal after the two-minute warning.

Darnold threw for 195 yards, a touchdown, and two interceptions, while Emanuel Wilson and George Holani both lost fumbles as Seattle lost at home for the first time since Week 5 of last season.

Star receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba recorded 102 receiving yards and a touchdown in the loss, the fourth time in five games that he’s eclipsed the 100-yard mark this year.

Smith-Njigba, the NFL’s reigning Offensive Player of the Year, appeared to sustain an ankle injury in the second half against San Francisco, but was estimated as a limited participant at practice on Monday with the short week incoming.

Running back Zach Charbonnet was also listed as limited on Monday, and has a chance to make his season debut against the Broncos.

Charbonnet had his practice window opened on Oct. 1 after suffering a torn ACL in the NFC Divisional Round last January, and has until next week to be activated if he is to come off the PUP list this season.

Denver (3-2) took down the Los Angeles Chargers last Sunday with a fourth-quarter rally over their AFC West rivals.

Nix’s 2026 struggles continued against LA despite head coach Sean Payton reclaiming offensive play-calling duties, throwing for just 123 yards with a touchdown in the victory.

Nix and top receiver Jaylen Waddle connected for just two catches against the Chargers as the two continue to try and get on the same page heading into Week 6.

Texans vs. Jaguars – International Series on TSN Premium

C.J. Stroud and the Houston Texans head to the London’s Wembley Stadium for a divisional game against Trevor Lawrence and the Jacksonville Jaguars as the NFL’s International Series rolls on.

The Texans (1-4) finally got their first win of the season last time out, hammering the Tennessee Titans 26-3 on the road.

Stroud posted a season-high 76.5 per cent completion rate in the win over Tennessee, throwing for 261 yards and a touchdown, also adding a score on the ground while remaining interception-free through five weeks of action.

The former second overall pick in 2023 could get another weapon in the passing game in London as Marvin Harrison Jr. looks to make his team debut following his trade from the Arizona Cardinals last week.

The two put up gaudy numbers while playing together at Ohio State, and are now reunited in Houston as Harrison looks to jumpstart his pro career after two disappointing years with the Cardinals.

The Jaguars (4-1) will remain in London for the week after they defeated the Philadelphia Eagles 19-17 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last Sunday.

Lawrence threw for 331 yards and two touchdowns – both going to Parker Washington – and kicker Cam Little hit a walk-off field goal to send Jacksonville to their third straight victory.

The Jaguars hold an 8-7 record in 15 total games played in London.

Bears vs. Falcons

Chicago (3-2) was on the wrong end of a 31-7 beatdown against the Green Bay Packers in Week 5, with quarterbacks Tyson Bagent and Case Keenum both struggling mightily in the loss.

Starting quarterback Caleb Williams continues to inch closer towards returning after sustaining a hamstring injury last month, but his status for Sunday remains up in the air as the Bears begin their prep for Week 6.

Head coach Ben Johnson would not name a starter if Williams remains on the sidelines for another week as the team continues to evaluate their options under centre.

Chicago scored 59 points in Williams’ only full game at quarterback this season in Week 1.

Atlanta (2-3) had a two-game winning streak snapped on Monday by way of a 30-23 overtime loss to the Baltimore Ravens.

Tua Tagovailoa came into the game in the late stages of the fourth to relieve an injured Michael Penix Jr., and threw a game-losing interception in the extra frame after Baltimore scored on their opening possession.

Penix’s injury is not considered to be long-term, and the third-year quarterback could return in time for Sunday against Chicago. If he is unable to go, Tagovailoa would likely make his first start for the Falcons after joining the team on a one-year deal over the offseason.

Steelers vs. Buccaneers on TSN Premium

A pair of teams coming off big wins go head-to-head as Aaron Rodgers and the Pittsburgh Steelers visit the Sunshine State for a meeting against Bucky Irving and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Pittsburgh (3-2) took down the Indianapolis Colts 34-22 at home last week, with Rodgers continuing his strong run of play with 235 passing yards and three touchdowns.

It was the third straight week Rodgers had thrown for three scores, with the future Hall of Famer joining Terry Bradshaw and Ben Roethlisberger as the only quarterbacks in franchise history to accomplish the feat.

Jaylen Warren also racked up 188 total scrimmage yards with scores through the air and on the ground to help Pittsburgh get back in the win column.

Tampa Bay (1-4) was victorious for the first time this season last time out against the Dallas Cowboys, with Irving finding the end zone twice to help the Bucs pull off the upset.

Quarterback Jalon Daniels went 19-of-25 passing with a touchdown in the absence of Baker Mayfield, who missed his second straight game with a right thumb injury.

Mayfield is reportedly pushing to play against Pittsburgh, but it would not be surprising to see Daniels get another start after the undrafted rookie performed on primetime last week.

Chargers vs. Chiefs

Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs come out of the bye week to take on Justin Herbert and the Los Angeles Chargers in an AFC West tilt.

Watch the Chiefs battle the Chargers LIVE Sunday at 4:25 p.m. ET / 1:25 p.m. PT on TSN1/3, TSN.ca, and the TSN App.

Kansas City (4-0) is just one of three teams that remain undefeated on the year as they get set for a divisional battle against the Chargers.

The Chiefs were narrow winners of the Las Vegas Raiders in their last game, with Mahomes throwing for a pair of touchdowns and Kenneth Walker III running for 177 yards on the ground with two scores of his own.

Walker’s addition to the Chiefs offence has arguably been the most impactful move of the off-season, with the Super Bowl LX MVP already having totaled 537 yards and six total touchdowns in just four games.

The Chargers (0-5) fell to the Denver Broncos 23-17 last week, with Herbert recording two more turnovers, an interception and fumble, to raise his season total to nine through five games.

Mike McDaniel’s start to his tenure as Chargers offensive coordinator has been nothing short of a disaster through five weeks, with LA scoring just 84 points through their first five games, the third-lowest in the AFC.

Cowboys vs. Packers – Sunday Night Football

Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys are back on primetime for the second consecutive week as they head to Lambeau Field for a Sunday Night Football matchup against Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers.

Watch the Cowboys take on the Packers LIVE Sunday at 8:20 p.m. ET / 5:20 p.m. PT across the TSN Network, streaming on TSN.ca and the TSN App.

Dallas (2-3) was blown out by the Buccaneers last week, with Prescott throwing a pair of interceptions and return man Kavonte Turpin fumbling a return as part of a three-turnover night.

It was an especially disappointing performance for the defence, who allowed 419 total yards to a Tampa Bay offence with an undrafted rookie under centre.

Dallas brought in ex-Cleveland Browns head coach Mike Pettine as a senior defensive assistant this week to help first-year coordinator Christian Parker shore up the unit ahead of their road date against the Packers.

Green Bay (3-2) is coming off of a 31-7 trouncing of the Chicago Bears last time out.

Quarterback Jordan Love threw for 367 yards and two touchdowns, with the dynamic receiving duo of Christian Watson and Matthew Golden combining for 266 yards through the air.

Running back Marshawn Lloyd also found the end zone twice for his first touchdowns of the season as Green Bay’s running game begins to find it’s footing in the absence of Josh Jacobs to open the year.

Commanders vs. 49ers – Monday Night Football

Week 6 in the NFL comes to a close with Jayden Daniels and the Washington Commanders looking to put an overtime blunder in the rearview mirror as they take on Brock Purdy and the San Francisco 49ers.

Watch the Commanders battle the 49ers LIVE Monday at 8:15 p.m. ET / 5:15 p.m. PT on TSN1/3/4, TSN.ca, and the TSN App.

Washington (1-3-1) was forced to settle for a tie after a head-scratching clock management error in the dying second of overtime against the New York Giants.

After the Commanders blew a two-score lead in the second half, Washington appeared to be on their way to a victory as Daniels led the offence into field goal range in the dying seconds of the extra frame.

Instead of running down the clock and spiking the ball to get the field-goal unit on the field, Daniels attempted an ill-fated scramble, and Washington was unable to get back to the line before there were zeros on the clock.

After the game, head coach Dan Quinn clarified that offensive coordinator David Blough was responsible for calling the play, but took responsibility for the botched play.

“All of that comes through me,” Quinn said. “Dave’s the one that calls it, but I want to make sure I’m clear on my guidelines, too. This will break down in a lot of ways, so it starts with me first.”

“It took entirely too long to execute our strategy. From subbing to clock awareness to clocking the ball.”

Washington remains at one win through five weeks, and now head to Santa Clara for a matchup against one of the hottest teams in the league in the Niners.

San Francisco improved to 5-0 with a gutsy win over the Seattle Seahawks, leaning on Purdy to engineer two scoring drives in the fourth quarter to secure the victory.

Purdy finished with 189 passing yards, two touchdowns, and an interception in the win, while Mike Evans led the team with 113 receiving yards.

Evans took on a large role in the passing game with George Kittle battling an illness and Deebo Samuel Sr. being ruled out with a hamstring injury that will keep him out of the clash against Washington.

San Francisco will also be missing starting linebacker Dre Greenlaw on Monday after he was handed a one-game suspension for headbutting Ernest Jones IV during the game against Seattle.
