NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Philadelphia running back Saquon Barkley returned to start the third quarter after suffering a stinger in his left arm on the Eagles’ first offensive play Sunday against the Tennessee Titans.
Barkley took the handoff from Jalen Hurts and was stopped by All-Pro defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons for no gain. Barkley then went to the sideline and straight to the medical tent. Barkley went off the field holding his left arm against him for further tests.
The three-time Pro Bowler returned at the start of the third quarter with the Eagles up 14-10.
Philadelphia had no issues without Barkley, continuing a 15-play drive that ended on third-and-goal when Hurts was intercepted by Amani Hooker who took it 92 yards.
Tight end Dallas Goedert hurt a knee midway through the second quarter, and his return is questionable.
