This week we focus on two rookies carving out expanded roles in the passing game for their respective teams.
Tetairoa McMillan - Carolina Panthers vs. New York Jets - 1p.m. ET

The Carolina Panthers selected the second wide receiver in the NFL Draft in April, using the eighth-overall pick on Arizona’s Tetairoa McMillan.
The native of Waimanalo, Hawaii captured the attention of NFL teams with his combination of size (6-foot-5) and speed, and the Panthers made the move to bolster their passing attack.
Through six games, McMillan is second among rookies in receiving yards (380), and caught his first two touchdowns in last week’s win against the Dallas Cowboys.
His continued emergence can prove to be a key storyline as the Panthers try to snap a streak of eight consecutive seasons without a playoff appearance.
The Panthers enter their game against the New York Jets on Sunday afternoon riding a two-game winning streak where their offence has exceeded 400 yards in both games. The team totaled more than 400 yards of offence just once in their last 18 games prior to a win two weeks ago against the Miami Dolphins.
New York’s defence ranks 10th in passing yards allowed, but have been gashed for 12 touchdowns and have yet to record an interception.

Tyler Warren - Indianapolis Colts vs. Los Angeles Chargers - 4:05p.m. ET

Just six games into his NFL career, Indianapolis Colts rookie tight end Tyler Warren is among the most productive players at his position.
A year after Brock Bowers set the rookie record for catches (112) and rookie tight end record for receiving yards (1,194), Warren appears to be picking up where the Las Vegas Raiders sophomore left off.
Warren is currently on pace to finish with 82 catches and 1,049 receiving yards, and his 29 receptions lead all rookies in the NFL so far.
Among tight ends across the NFL, Warren ranks third in catches, first in yards and tied for fifth in total touchdowns scored.
The 6-foot-6 Warren has been a nightmare to cover in the red zone, and has scored touchdowns in three consecutive games leading up to this clash with the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday.
His presence has helped Daniel Jones, who was cut by the New York Giants after six seasons last year, experience a career revival in his first season in Indianapolis and help guide the Colts to the top record in the AFC at 5-1.
