Report: OBJ takes physical with Giants

Could Odell Beckham Jr. go back to where it all began?

The New York Post’s Ryan Dunleavy reports the veteran wide receiver is taking a physical with the New York Giants on Monday.

Beckham, 33, spent the first five seasons of his career with the team from 2014 to 2018.

But Josina Anderson cautions a potential reunion wouldn’t be immediate.

Anderson reports should the Giants offer Beckham a contract, it would come after Thursday’s 2026 NFL Draft.

A native of New Orleans, the Giants originally took Beckham with the 12th overall selection of the 2014 NFL Draft out of LSU. He would have an immediate impact with the team, winning NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year that same year. He would go on to appear in 59 games for the Giants, recording 390 receptions for 5,476 yards and 44 touchdowns. He was named to the Pro Bowl in his first three seasons.

Traded to the Cleveland Browns in the spring of 2019, injuries have been the hallmark of Beckham’s career. Since joining the Browns, Beckham has appeared in a total of 74 games across the next six seasons. He did not play in 2022 and he did not play in 2025, though he was suspended for the first six games of his past season for a violation of the league’s performance-enhancing drug policy. Beckham last played in 2024, appearing in nine games for the Miami Dolphins. He had nine catches for 55 yards. He has twice torn his ACL and incurred a significant ankle injury.

Beckham, who played for the Baltimore Ravens in 2023, won Super Bowl LVI with the Los Angeles Rams after the 2021 season.

For his career, Beckham has 575 receptions for 7,987 yards and 59 touchdowns in 119 games across 10 seasons.
