One of the NFL’s most trustworthy kickers has a new deal.
The Pittsburgh Steelers have signed Chris Boswell to a four-year, $28 million extension, his representatives tell ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
The $7 million annual salary ties Brandon Aubrey of the Dallas Cowboys for the highest paid to a kicker.
Boswell, 35, has spent the entirety of his 11-year career with the Steelers. Undrafted out of Rice, Boswell has appeared in 167 career games and has made 299 of 341 career field-goal attempts. An All-Pro in 2024, Boswell led the league that season with 41 made kicks.
Boswell also holds a pair of kicking records. His six field goals in a 2016 AFC Divisional Round 18-16 playoff victory over the Kansas City Chiefs is the all-time postseason record. Boswell also holds the regular-season record for most games with six field goals at three.
